matakamera, Nganjuk – Praktik perjudian sabung ayam masih saja dijumpai di wilayah Kabupaten Nganjuk. Buktinya, aparat Satreskrim Polres Nganjuk baru-baru ini melakukan penggerebekan di sejumlah titik lokasi.
Tak tanggung-tanggung, ada delapan lokasi yang digerebek dengan barang bukti 25 ekor ayam aduan.
Keberhasilan pengungkapan perkara tersebut disampaikan Kapolres Nganjuk AKBP Harviadhi Agung dalam konferensi pers Jumat 9 April 2021. Ia mengatakan, penggerebekan arena judi ini menanggapi keresahan masyarakat terkait maraknya judi sabung ayam akhir-akhir ini.
“Penggerebekan ini dalam rangka Operasi Pekat 2021, mulai 22 Maret 2021 hingga 2 April 2021. Sasarannya meliputi kasus premanisme, prostitusi, pornografi, perjudian, miras, petasan dan bahan peledak (handak), serta narkoba. Salah satunya adalah perjudian sabung ayam ini,” ujar Harviadhi.
Dalam pers rilis tersebut, Harviadhi tampak didampingi jajaran Forkpimda antara lain Wakil Bupati Marhaen Djumadi, Wakil Ketua DPRD Jianto, Kejari Nganjuk serta dari Kodim 0810 Nganjuk.
Lebih lanjut Harviadhi mengatakan, puluhan ayam aduan ini disita dari 8 arena sabung ayam, antara lain di Desa Kedungombo Tanjunganom, Desa Ngujung Gondang, Desa Cengkok Ngronggot, dan Desa Sumberkepuh Tanjunganom.
Selain itu, arena sabung ayam di Kelurahan Guyangan, Bagor; Desa/Kecamatan Berbek; Desa Sonoageng, Prambon; dan Desa Musir Lor Kecamatan Rejoso. “Barang bukti lainnya, kurungan ayam, jam dinding, ring beberan, dan 12 unit sepeda motor,” kata Harviadhi.
Saat dilakukan penggerebekan, sambung Harviadhi, para penjudi melarikan diri. Meski begitu, pihak Polres Nganjuk tidak akan mentolerir segala bentuk perjudian. “Kita terus selidiki kasus ini hingga dapat meringkus para botohnya. Informasi masyarakat sangat kami harapkan,” pungkasnya.
